Damn.

I knew I’d get mentioned on one of those poo-flinging Mormon blogs eventually, but I was hoping it would be the Snarkernacle (which has sadly been out of commission for almost a year now) or the Bloggernacle Back Burner, where the put-downs actually show some semblance of wit. Or at least have awesome pictures of cats. This is like getting a Golden Globe when I was hoping for an Oscar.
Oh well. I’d like to thank the Academy Hollywood Foreign Press for this great honor…

  1. Congratulations, Jack. I’m sure this an honor beyond honors.
I have to agree with you, though: the insults were completely lame. I think if you’re going to have a snark-blog, you should, you know, at least be funny.
  2. Heh. Well, that’s not an actual picture of me, it’s a pretty well-known LOLanimal picture which normally says “YOU MAKE BUNNY CRY.” I just captioned it accordingly.
I never would have looked at it and thought of the Fluffy Bunny Nice-Nice Club. Nice!
  3. I’ll save a special kitteh/bunneh/obscure reference to British television for you.

    My hero.
I’ll do my best to give you some good material soon. My trainwreck exchanges with Blake Ostler are actually a pretty regular occurrence…
  5. Yeah… what is it with you and Blake anyway?
Glad I managed to get a Nine Moons thread mentioned on that blog without it being a comment about how the blog is dead and no one writes there anymore. Couldn’t have done it without you.
  6. I don’t know if you’ve noticed before Seth, but Blake is the one who tends to seek out my arguments and engage them, not the other way around. I just do my best to rise to the challenge.
He’s made it perfectly clear that he’s already engaged the best in evangelical thought and found it unimpressive, so as I see it there’s only two reasons why he has any interest in anything I write:
    1) He thinks I’m every bit as imbecilic as Mister Correlation does and he likes to toy with me.
    2) He thinks I have potential and he likes to challenge me. He himself has indicated that this is the case.
And if #2 is correct, I guess I’m flattered and I’m happy to do my best, even when “my best” looks mighty pathetic. He still scares the crap out of me though.
Glad I managed to get a Nine Moons thread mentioned on that blog without it being a comment about how the blog is dead and no one writes there anymore.
No, Seth, I’m afraid it was too late for one of my humiliating exchanges with Blake to save you from that.
