I haven’t had the chance to do an in-depth post about this yet, but my mother is not doing very well. They claim the chemo is not doing her any good anymore and took her off of it, so now I guess they’re just waiting for her to die. No, I’m not taking this very well. Yes, I cry a lot. I try to comfort my mom, but she’s so sad so much of the time and in pain a lot of the time, and she just cries and cries. She doesn’t want to talk about heaven, or the afterlife, or finding satisfaction in having lived a good life or anything of the sort. I love my mom so very much. She doesn’t deserve this, and most days I feel perfectly useless.

Tomorrow I’m heading to Silverton, Oregon for a conference with my church. I’m taking Harley with me, it will be her first trip ever to Oregon. I’m going to try to post part 4 of my interfaith marriage story before then, but if it’s not up by tomorrow around noon then it won’t be up until Sunday at least.

In other news, some people who were very obsessed with Bigfoot are now claiming that theyfound the body of Bigfoot (yeah right) and a woman named Jessica Wemhaner living in Lacey, WA was arrested for causing the death of her newborn through neglect. If I understand the story right, she gave birth to the child on her own at home, then did not seek medical attention so that the child died somehow. My favorite part is her husband claiming he didn’t know she was pregnant. Did he not see her for the last two trimesters of the pregnancy, or was she just too fat to tell?
