This blog has moved
I am in the process of moving my blog from Typepad to WordPress. I’m really not doing anything special with the paid features on the Typepad blog; the only thing I get there that I don’t get here for free is site design customization, and I’m hardly a Web design genius as it is. So, free WordPress with icky, rigid templates it shall be.
My Typepad account will expire on August 24, at which point I’ll be locking down the entries on the old site and will no longer be able to edit it (but the site should remain). I’ll probably leave it up till the end of the year or so.
I’m still fixing the custom colors of links and quotes and moving images and everything.
UPDATE: All links should be fixed and images should be moved. That was a bit time-consuming, but better that I did it now with only 17ish posts to move than a year from now with 100+ posts.
I think I’ve finally settled on a template that I like. Really enjoy how this one puts the background of quoted text in a different color. My only wish is that I could change the color scheme from blue-gray to red-gray, but apparently I have to pay WordPress for the option of tweaking the color template more, so this will have to do for now.
