Obama supporters show their tolerance again

I know, I know. Bad examples can be found on both sides of the political spectrum.
Is that going to stop me displaying these pictures of what Obama supporters did to cars displaying McCain bumper stickers in Minnesota? Not a chance.
Hot Air has the details. I’ve been a little worried about displaying a McCain-Palin sign and bumper stickers when I live in a heavily pro-Obama neighborhood, but so far I’ve been unmolested.

Obama supporters show their tolerance again — 3 Comments

  1. Shortly after the election in 2004, I remember reading a study which listed all known incidents of vandalism and violence against Kerry campaign offices & supporters v. all known incidents of violence and vandalism against Bush campaign offices & supporters. There were definitely more incidents of violence and vandalism against the Bush camp; unfortunately I can’t locate the comparison I read back then. Here is the list of violence against Republicans from 2004.
Is the same thing happening this year? I don’t know but it wouldn’t surprise me. In linking to this one isolated story I’m mostly just being arbitrary.
  2. Thanks for the support. I was hoping that someone would remember that piece. I see less vandalism than 2004 in my own area but it’s early in the cycle. There is a long history of leftist leaning movements that condone violent actions against the opposition. We see it every time a conservative is speaking on a college campus or anywhere near a liberal constituency. Surf the blogs, these people take great pleasure in disrupting any event that might promote a non liberal position or person. Apparently they believe that liberal or gutter speech is the only speech protected by the first amendment.
