Dog-cloning Mormon “rapist” ‘fesses up

Surprising no one, “Bernann” McKinney, who made headlines recently for having five pups cloned from the ear of her dead pitbull “Booger,” admits to being Joyce McKinney who was accused of having kidnapped and sexually assaulted a 21 year-old Mormon missionary 31 years ago. From Newsweek:
“I thought people would be honest enough to see me as a person who was trying to do something good and not as a celebrity,” McKinney told the AP. “My mother always taught me, ‘Say something good or say nothing at all.’”
“I think I gave people too much credit,” she said…
She maintains her innocence and says the woman of all those years ago is a “figment of the tabloid press. … I don’t want that garbage in with the puppy story.”
Oh please, somebody call the WAH-mbulance. If the story was garbage, Ms. McKinney, why did you skip the country? Why were you caught stalking the same man with rope and handcuffs in your car and a journal detailing his daily activities years later? You had the chance to prove your innocence, and you ran like someone who had something to hide.
You better thank God you are a woman, Ms. McKinney. The only reason you got away with what you did is because you did it without a penis. You seem to be quite the attention whore though, and now you’re getting the attention you deserve: everyone will remember you for being a psychotic, desperate, sexual assailant and no one will ever give a damn about your ugly dogs.

Dog-cloning Mormon “rapist” ‘fesses up — 11 Comments

  1. Sure. I didn’t make it up though, it’s a common colloquialism for us World of Warcraft players. Someone might pick up on it and think you’re a nerd, but I say go for it. :)
  2. First thing to remember is she was INNOCENT!!!. Please be careful what you say. Ms McKinney was never charged with rape, nor could she have been, in English law, even if she had intercourse with the guy “against his will.” Is this possible, I ask myself? To say she “was never brought to justice” as one newspaper at least did is ridiculous, although I agree she should have stood her ground and been found not guilty, as I am sure she would have been, but that is easy for us to say.
Bob Marshall-Andrews, who was barrister for the complainant at the time
said the courts were glad to see the back of them both when she skipped
bail She was sexually adventurous, yes, but the guy was six feet four
or something, and she was a petite little thing – she didn’t overpower
him and tie him up. What happened to her is exactly what happened to
me – the guy blamed her so as not to lose his job – in the McKinney case
being excommunicated from the Mormon church, in mine being fired by
Scottish Rail. I do believe she may have stalked him since, but that
was never in an extreme enough way to have been a crime, at least in Britain, and anyway she was never charged with this. I am fed up with hearing about women being charged with murder and false imprisonment and conspiracy mainly because they are not chaste – It makes my blood boil and THAT is why I sympathized with and supported Joyce McKinney, though I would have admired her more if she had stood her ground and fought.
  3. Ghislaine – she had a male accomplice, Keith May, who helped her with the abducting and overpowering, so her size v. Kirk Anderson’s size is completely irrelevant. She was caught in the US in 1984 stalking the same man (with handcuffs, rope and a journal in her car detailing his daily activities) and was charged with lying to the police and harassment, but she skipped town on standing trial for that, too. I’m sure the folks in England were indeed very glad to be rid of her, her accomplice, and the LDS missionary when he eventually left. The case was a huge media circus and would have been a headache to any justice system.
Furthermore, the Mormon church would never excommunicate a man for one count of fornication unless he was unrepentant about it. I’m not even sure they would boot him off the mission for that. It would have been way easier to just privately confess it to his leaders than to go through the ensuing media circus of claiming male rape.
You’re free to interpret the evidence and claim that she’s innocent, and maybe she is, but the fact that she did not try and prove her innocence leaves it open to interpretation. And what bothers me about this case is that if it were a man accused of raping a woman, and he was caught years later stalking the same woman, no one would defend him or insist on his innocence. Especially not if he had a history of run-ins with the law and skipping town on bail like Joyce McKinney does.
  4. Fair comment, [BJM], and I actually agree with most of what you say,
though would emphasise again that Ms McKinney was not charged with rape,
though that may well be a technicality of English law. Certainly her subsequent escapades do her little credit.
  5. Ghislaine.
She also had what the young man believed to be, a real and operational firearm. It turned out to be fake. Seems you’re attempting to minimise what she (allegedly) did.
Imagine if this had been a man kidnapping a 21 year old girl. Whilst none of us know the truth of the matter. Do not think because a man may get an errection whilst being sexually assaulted, it is not still a rape. It’s a physiological response.
  6. So she was Miss Wyoming USA!? They must have held that beauty contest on Halloween! She had an accomplice who helped her abduct the Mormon fellow; and he was Mormon, so he might have been a pacifist, a geek, easily intimidated, easily seduced, drugged?
And God knows no man would do the nasty with her- unless he was tied down!
  7. Your sick comments are false and defamatory slander about a INNOCENT woman who was falsely accused by a spineless MORMON cult recruiter who was afraid of excommunication. Her life destroyed by slandermongers and gossips like you, Miss McKinney has already won a lawsuit against another party who said exactly what YOU printed. So you have opened yourself up to a lawsuit! Also, she is currently suing–with a twenty million dollar libel action against people who are the source of resurrecting this libelous Mormon sourced story which was a lie 30 years ago and a LIE now. You yourselves will be tracked down and subpeoned to court, to illustrate how people how STUPID enough and DISHONEST enough to propagate a “myth” which had such tragic effects on her and her family. (Do you really believe that a 300 pound 6’5″ Mormon cult recruiter was “raped” by a gorgeous blonde lady who once ran for the MISS USA beauty crown?? Oh and, please don’t call him a “missionary”–that’s someone who is serving Christ and not a false Prophet as Mormons do.) Don’t tell me you are THAT stupid. Are you Mormon CULT MEMBERS YOURSELVES, or just GOSSIPMONGERS?) Moreover, it is CRIMINAL LIBEL to print that a person was CHARGED with a crime they not only NEVER COMMITTED, but which they were never even CHARGED with. You uneducated nuts know nothing about libel law, obviously: It is also libel to imply that a person is sexually impure. In the REAL WORLD, Miss McKinney, was in fact a virgin when she met this Mormon who CHASED her to death to beg her to marry him. He was a overweight Mormon boy and Mommy’s boy and she was a model and MISS USA contestant completing her PHD when she met him. Who do you think chased WHOM? His Mormon Mammy was against their engagement from the beginning because Miss McKinney chose to leave Mornonism and went back to Christianity. All of us who knew them back in the 70s know this. WHY haven’t YOU researched the TRUE facts? ARE YOU MORMONS helping spread the “rape” myth via the internet? You are SLANDERING Miss McKinney maliciously. REMOVE THIS OFFENDING MATERIAL OR IT WILL BE TURNED OVER TO HER LAWYERS! Also, you better get your suit pressed as you’re going to court either way as an example of FOOLS who believed–and spread–the libelous filthy original MYTH SKILLFULLY ORCHESTRATED and propagated by Mormon PR teams trying to cover up a love affair which would have destroyed their multi-million dollar “image”. And when you get to court, you’ll be required to submit a “charge sheet” saying she was CHARGED with “RAPING A MAN”. Since one DOESN”T EXIST, you’re in trouble. (PS Hope you have a lot of money to pay damages!)
  8. It would appear that Ms. McKinney’s fans are every bit as crazy as she is.
This is an opinion blog, not a news firm. I’m allowed to express my opinion that the person in question is guilty of what she was accused of just like you’re allowed to express your opinion that Mormons are cultists. You might want to check into the first amendment, it covers all that.
Furthermore, I’m not Mormon, I’m an evangelical Christian. As such I have zero interest in your crazy Mormon conspiracy theories, though your screeching about it is good for a laugh.
Now, my experience with crazy people on the Internet who go around screaming about cults and lawsuits with broken capslock keys is (1) they are very, very stupid and (2) they’re bluffing about lawyers and lawsuits. So I won’t be removing anything from my site, though I have made some minor edits to clarify that I’m expressing an opinion and not stating known facts. Good luck depriving me of my first amendment rights.
One more thing: as far as “gossipmongering” goes, the biggest gossipmonger in this story is Ms. McKinney herself. Or do her fans think she posed nude for the media on accident? Innocent virginal Christian my ass.
  9. Man, she is craaaazy as she ever was. And obviously can’t stop scratching her celebrity itch.
btw, waaahmbulance has been in and out of interweb parlance for a long time… somethingawful.com put it out in the limelight first, I think.
