Morgan Freeman, please don’t die!

Morgan Freeman was in a car accident last night and is in serious condition in the hospital. From the Associated Press:
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Ben Williams said Freeman was driving a 1997 Nissan Maxima belonging to Demaris Meyer of Memphis when the car left a rural highway and flipped several times shortly before midnight Sunday.
“There’s no indication that either alcohol or drugs were involved,” Williams said. He said both Freeman and Meyer were wearing seat belts. The woman’s condition was not immediately available.
Freeman was airlifted to the hospital in Tennessee.
Morgan Freeman is the only person on this planet who can play roles like God, the President, villains, then endorse a failboat like Obama and still make me love and respect him. Here’s wishing you and your passenger a speedy recovery, Mr. Freeman.

  2. Morgan Freeman is HURT?! But I love Morgan Freeman! He hasn’t failed me in many roles, and when he has it was because the movie was the failboat whose voyage was as titanically doomed as the Merrimack!
    I’m a democrat, and even I must admit Obama seems like a failboat. He just DOESN’T have the experience needed to do well in this office. However, I am also extremely uncomfortable with the idea of a man who spent 4 years in a POW camp getting bamboo splinters shoved under his nails having his finger on the nuke button. America is doomed.
  3. Oh, I’m right there with you Laura. I don’t like McCain and I really don’t like Obama. It’s like having a pile of dog poop and a slightly smaller pile of dog poop set before you and being asked which one you would rather step in. So far I’m voting for neither. I know we have to have one or the other, but at least my feet will be clean.
    And yeah, I really hope Freeman pulls through. It will make me horribly sad if he doesn’t make it.
