Blog Maintenanc
This blog badly needs a little maintenance. I just updated it from Atahualpa 3.2 to 3.7.7, and while most of the formatting transferred, I now find myself needing to work on the rotating header image, the post/sidebar fonts, and my numbered comments plugin. I’d actually like to re-design this blog altogether, but that will probably have to wait until later in the summer. For now I just want to get it back to looking how it used to look.
Simultaneously, I’m helping to organize a new Mormon studies group blog project which I am very excited about. I’m going to let a friend into this blog so she can test out some theme options for the new blog we are putting together. So, if you see all the colors and columns changing and re-arranging, it’s business as usual.
Please be patient as things get disordered and then are brought back to order.
UPDATES:
- I’ve done some work on the blog, but I’m still not happy with how the fonts and colors are looking. So expect changes there.
- I’ve switched to a two-column theme and minimized my sidebar content.
- I’ve fixed the avatars but have yet to fix the numbered commenting system.
- I have added a comment editing plug-in. You can now edit your comments within 5 minutes of posting them. You can also request comment deletion and your comment will immediately be moved out-of-sight to a queue while I consider deleting it.
- I have removed the math question thing and added another anti-spam plug-in. Let’s see if it works.
I’ll have to get into my FTP before I can fix the banners or the background.
UPDATE II:
I’ve ditched Atahualpa for my old Neat! theme. Part of the reason I had gone with Atahualpa at all was to recreate Neat!. Turns out I didn’t need to recreate it.
I just need to figure out how to make the header rotate and number my comments, and I’m good.
UPDATE III:
So, Neat wasn’t playing well with other features, being out of date, so I’ve updated to Weaver IIwith a green, She-Hulk-inspired design.
