Almost a year ago, I did a post over at LDS & Evangelical Conversations contrasting the LDS view of exaltation with an argument for deification within the evangelical worldview.

One note on the article: I mention in it that I’d never heard evangelicals discuss deification in any of our meetings, which was true at the time I originally wrote the post. However, a few weeks ago, I attended a lecture given by J. Todd Billings where we discussed John Calvin’s view of deification. So that has changed just a touch.
